February vacation

Well today is Friday and I have made it through my first big vacation week without having a meltdown or really yelling at anyone! Amazing!

I am SO happy to be home and have a rest - I didn't realize how much life that job was sucking out of me - but I do now - and I am THANKFUL that I am no longer working! Is that wrong? I feel like somehow I should not be so happy? But I am! I have been so busy all week shuffling Matthew back and forth to play dates - hosting play dates here - attending many hockey games and playing taxi service to Pat, that I have not had time to think - plus I folded 3 loads of laundry yesterday - an all time record - just ask the Man's Man!

Hope everyone has a great weekend! I will be ramping up the blogging next week with the kids back in school!

  1. I'm happy that you're happy and that makes all the folks at your house happy too!!! Of course, work is good and we need to do so but at what expense? Your health and happiness and family's well being.....glad you're enjoying being home with boys who I am sure looooovvveee having Mom home. Enjoy and treasure your time with them - it goes all too fast. Now you have time to put that new Kitchen Aid to work....Love, Mum

  2. Thanks Mom for being such a great supporter - always!

There was a price to be paid - but we have to keep plugging away - now with Joe's promo what we lost can be made up and we can all have a more stress free life!

The boys are VERY happy to have Mom home - all around it's been a good thing - plus I hope it means more beach time this summer!

    Love you,
    B :)

  3. I grew up with my mom home most of my life (she worked when we were teens on and off) and I can't tell you how much it meant to me and my sibs and how I feel for kids who don't have that luxury! Your kids are lucky!!
